Castle Lanikai, A Condominium Resort

The Castle Lanikai is a condominium resort that is located along the Papaloa Road in Kapaa in the island of Kauai in Hawaii. This property is found on the southern end of the popular Royal Coconut Coast and it is only five and a half miles from the Lihue Airport. This resort is only yards away to the Wailua Beach. The Coconut Coast is a strip of beaches that is eight miles long with beautiful views of the ocean.

Property features

The primary feature of this condominium resort is the peaceful environment with its rich tropical gardens, manicured lawns, and breathtaking ocean views. There are only 18 available suites that are found in two buildings that are three stories high. There are no elevators and access to the upper floors is through external staircases.

There is an outdoor swimming pool with barbecue grills and a picnic area. There are free newspapers in the lobby and parking is also free. Recreational activities within the area include golfing, boogie boarding, snorkeling, tennis, surfing, parasailing, volleyball, skydiving, boating, hiking, biking, sightseeing through helicopter or airplane, horseback riding, fishing, sailing, enjoyment of personal watercraft, rafting, and kayaking.

The wide balconies and patios of the Castle Lanikai, A Condominium Resort, offer you with ocean views. Island-style decoration is employed in the rooms that have fully equipped kitchens, washers, and dryers. Other room features include a clock radio, microwave oven, hair dryer, coffee maker, free local telephone calls, satellite and cable television, videocassette recorder, cookware, utensils, dishes, refrigerator, iron board, iron, crib when requested, and ceiling fan.

Where to go to eat

While the Castle Lanikai, A Condominium Resort, does not have its own restaurant, there are different dining places within the area. These include the Bali Hai Restaurant at Princeville for some fine dining; Brennecke's Beach Broiler at Hoone Road in Poipu Beach, Koloa, for some casual dining right there on the beach; A Pacific Cafe restaurant at the Kauai Village in Kapaa that is owned by Jean-Marie Josselin; and Duke's Canoe Club restaurant at Rice Street on Kalapaki Beach, for dining with Hawaiian music.

Other places to go for dining include Chuck's Steak House at the Princeville Shopping Center for salads, fresh fish, desserts, and wine; Wind's of Beamreach Restaurant at Princeville for American cuisine including steaks, seafood and pasta; Hale O' Java restaurant at the Princeville Shopping Center for gourmet pizza, pasta, homemade pastries, and gourmet coffee; and the Gaylord's at Kilohana restaurant at the Kilohana Plantation Estate along Kaumualii Highway, Lihue for international cuisine in a plantation setting.

Still more dining places are the Hanalei Taro and Juice Co. for original taro products; The Bull Shed restaurant along Kuhio Highway in Kapaa; Keoki's Paradise restaurant at the Kiahuna Shopping Center, Kiahuna Plantation Drive in Koloa, for prime steaks, seafood, and fresh fish; the Kahanu Snack Bar at the Aloha Beach Resort Kauai; the Restaurant Kintaro Japanese Steak House at Kuhio Highway in Kapaa; and the House of Seafood along Poipu Road.
