Aston Waimea Plantation Cottages

The Aston Waimea Plantation Cottages, which were formerly known as ResortQuest, occupy an area of 27 acres. The cottages are nestled inside a peaceful coconut grove and provide you with an insight into the past of Hawaii, particularly as a group of sugar plantation islands. This plantation-style resort that is made up of real cottages is found on the western coast of Kauai Island that are equipped with furniture that try to mimic those employed during that period of Hawaii's past. These cottages had been occupied by the workers of the Waimea Sugar Mill Co.

This resort provides a natural setting for the cottages so that you really feel you are vacationing in the tropics. There are beautiful gardens and very tall coconut trees that could have existed during that period when the area was a plantation of the sugar company. The beach front of this property has a good-size swimming pool with a matching huge sunning deck that also has a hot tub.
